Grapes sourced from a distinct selection of dry-land vineyard in Swartland on predominantly Koffie klipCoffee-stone soils.

Winemaking

Grapes were handpicked, destalked, lightly crushed and cold-soaked for 24 hours. After being frementedon the skins in open fermenters with frequent punch-downs malolacic fermentation was completed inFrench oak barrels. Wine was then aged for an additional 12months in 225L French Oak Barrels.

Food pairing

Chilli Con Carne, Vegetarian Moussaka, Rosemary and Garlic Roast Chicken or Shepherd’s Pie.
