Vineyard

Chenin Blanc has the strongest claim to be South Africa's signature variety.These grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Coastal region on clay-loam soil. The soils arepredominantly koffieklip (decomposed granite and iron-rich clay).

Winemaking

The grapes were picked by hand before sunrise to retain the natural flavour of the fruit. Free-run juicewas used for fermentation where after the wine was left on the lees for two months beforeblending and bottling.

Food pairing

Sesame tuna, Thai fried mix with cashew nuts, sole in herb crust. Vegan friendly.
