Vineyard

The grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Coastal Region of the Western Cape. These vines grow indeep oak-leaf soil with minimum human intervention thanks to the soil’s high water retention. Situatedclose to the ocean, where the cooling Atlantic breezes give its fruits a distinctive physical character, thesevineyards are ideal for Pinotage production.

Winemaking

Grapes were handpicked, de-stalked, crushed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine wasthen pressed off the skins during post fermentation and transferred to older French and American barrelsand matured for 12 months before blending and bottling.

Lamb kebab, Cape Malay cuisine, Cajun seafood. Vegan friendly.
