Coastal region - South Africa
TERROIR AND WINEMAKING:
Rolling hills of decomposed granite with clay subsoil from Paarl, Darling and Stellenbosch. 100% Shiraz grapes harvested from selected vineyard blocks and cold soaked for 2 to 3 days at 13 - 14°C. Alcoholic fermentation completed after 15 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine matured for 14 months in barrel before blending.

TASTING NOTE:
Beautiful layered aromas of mulberry, violets and plum supported by infused allspice. The palate has richness with good length and smooth tannins.
